EMBEDDED DESIGN

Embedded design plays a crucial role within RF/Wireless systems. It provides the command and timing functions to activate transmit and receive functions, code/decode modulations and control various other hardware functions. Some applications require relatively simple embedded functions (acknowledge a button push or activate a motor) while some require highly sophisticated designs (I/Q modulation/demodulation, forward error correction (FEC) algorithms, SDR functionality, data encryption).

Our team of engineers at Ictolabs have years of experience with these requirements using microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs and SoCs within the context of RF systems design and will help you understand which solution will best meet your product requirements and then execute for your design.

Hardware development including RFICs, FPGAs, DDR and High Speed signaling. PHY Design, Multi-channel design, FEC, DSSS, FHSS (packet based and hopping), CSSS, Matlab and Simulink.
